What to say - September 7th 2010, 06:24 AM

I need a job asap. I have found some appropriate ones in the newspaper for me to apply for. I'm going to send them an email with my resume. Only thing is, i have no clue what to write besides "Hi I'm Rebecca" lol. I might not get far with that. Can someone please help me write something or give me some ideas? I don't know whether to write heaps or a little.

Usually when you are emailing your CV/resume for a job you need to do a covering letter as well. Basically this says what the job is you want to apply for and some general things about yourself. At the top right you also should include your address and the date, a bit like a letter! That should be enough for your covering letter and obviously you will sign off with "Yours faithfully, Rebecca" at the end so I think you got it covered! Then all you need to do is attach your resume and you should be good to go
