I don't have enough time! - September 8th 2010, 09:33 PM

UGH! Every single one of my teachers believes that their subject is the most important, and every night I am sent home with a book or two for each subject. I have at least an hour of homework from the four core-subjects every night! Choir just started up again, which I thought would make me have something to look forward too after I finish my homework because I get to go to something that I love, but it's only stressing me out more. I don't have enough time to finish all of my homework on Tuesday nights. Yesterday I worked from 4:30 - 5:30 and 9:00 - 11:30 and I still didn't finish all of my homework. I had to do my science homework at lunch. None of my teachers give us time to finish our homework in class, and they told us to not expect to get time to finish our homework in class. I have study hall every other day, and thank God that it's second period so I can finish math, and history in it. Then I can finish science at lunch(only core subject class I have after lunch). Do you guys know how I can find a better way to get all of my homework done? I don't like working with partners, and when I do, I do all of the work. Quitting choir isn't an option, not for me at least. And I can't really drop English, science, history, or math. What can I do to get all my homework done before midnight?

Could you perhaps find partners who are very intelligent and do work so you don't have to do all the work? In high-school, I had the same thing. You'd be given work in class and even if everyone finished all of it (rare), the teacher would assign more. The best way I found was to arrange it in terms of priority and what I know best. If I know, say, math the best and it's about 50-100 questions, I may leave it to the last but I'll work more on, say English which was harder. If both are due the same day, I do English first because I can somewhat relax doing something easier.

Another tip is try to do as much as you can for about 45-50 minutes, then if your head is sore, take a break for 10 minutes then resume.

I can rip you off, and steal all your cash, suckerpunch you in the face, stand back and laugh. Leave you stranded as fast as a heart-attack.
