Here goes. - October 25th 2010, 12:51 AM

OK well tommorow morning my first day at College starts, I got myself a new bag, a water bottle, some treats, and I feel a little nervous but hopefully I'll adjust and I'll do well.
Wish me luck! Good thing about this is it's only until the afternoon so I have the rest of the day to myself.

Good luck, friend. One of the things I didn't miss from high school is I don't need to wake up at 7 in the morning anymore. My day starts at 11 am during the week- it's awesome.

The most important part is stay motivated, and try not to procrastinate...professors don't care whether you do your work or not, unlike in high school, so it is up to entirely you to keep track of your work. Go to TA if you have any questions about the course material, and keep up with the work...

To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the approbation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty; To find the best in others; To give of one's self; To leave the world a bit better...; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived - This is to have succeeded. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thank you.
I got back from my first day and it was alot more interesting and went better than I had depended on.
Actually our professor is very strict, this is a strict School who will not tolerate too many days of absence or handing in your homework late or not at all, so I'll definitely have to crack down for this. I'm going to work my hardest!

I'm really glad to think that your first day at college went much better than expected. I'm sure that all your hard work will pay off and you'll do just great!

Since you have now started college I'm going to go ahead and close this. I'm glad it all went well!
