Smile Online Make Ups - May 21st 2011, 07:19 PM

So I pretty much failed big time at math and science this year. My math teacher was just..not good.. I mean she would start crying in class and if you didn't understand something she would explain it in the exact same way and walk off. And my science teacher is very nice but so hard to pay attention to because of the way she goes into way to much detail.

So I signed up for online credit on this website called EHS. Today I found out that I had been registered for the math class I need so I went on there and I'm already done with 2 of the 4 quizzes needed to pass! It's really easy to make up credit online.. Seriously. I'm taking French on there too so I can get foreign language credit and graduate as a junior.

Anyways, that's my little story from today, I'm really glad that I'm going to get to take geometry with my best friend next year.

I think online classes are such a wonderful thing especially for classes that need to be re taken. I almost had to take a class online in high school to make up a math class but it turns out I didn't and I am actually thankful for that because that was really confusing but now that I am in college, I take many classes online and the college system for this is so great.

Honestly, I would bring your math teacher's performance up with a principal - if she is really crying and acting out emotionally in class, she isn't in the right state to hold up a position of authority at the moment, and certainly many other students would be negatively affected by that as well. This isn't to get her in trouble or anything, but if she's going through a rough time and it's affecting her work performance, it sounds like it would benefit everyone if she took some time off or something like that.

That aside, online schools are a savior - they helped me finish high school a year early. I totally recommend it for anyone who feels dissatisfied with what they're getting in their 'normal' high school in any way.
