Art teacher for children with special needs -
August 9th 2011, 04:41 PM
I've done textiles,DT and art through school..Through college i did art & design and did my national diploma for fine art in 2009..
I will be honest i feel a tad intimidated standing in front of a class and teen agers and teaching art..But maybe teaching children with special needs is more one to one and only a selected few.. I did consider doing art for children with special needs at one point as a old art teacher said the money is very good aswel and the job could be rewarding.. Well i dont intend of going to UNI as its never interested me and t be honest waiting 3 years getting drunk and learning at a slow pace isn't for me.. Is there any courses in the UK like weekly courses that offer this like a KS course for teaching art.. I've also applied to be a support carer and looking after people as im currently unemployed and i've considered trying caring for people.. Just wondering if anyone knows how i can get back into my art side.. |
