Alternative School.

So, I have been not going to school because I get really depressed there, and I can't deal with the enviornment. It's just really stressful, and at the end of the day- or during. I get pretty depressed. I talked to my mother, and basically asked her to talk to the guidance counselor to see if I could switch to Alternative. I know he will want to talk to me, and I don't really know what to say, school is just really depressing and I feel like Alternative would be a better place to be.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should word it, or pros to going to alternative schooll... because i am just gonna sound really dumb if I have no reason why I want to go there.

What do you mean by Alternative? Like a different school? Homeschool? Unschool?

If you're in middle school you might be able to be homeschooled.
If you're in high school you might be best off in a community college or transferring into a different high school.

Alternative school is for highschool students. Here it is like where you do all your courses online.
I have heard it is for people with struggling grades, but it might also be helpful in my situation; because people like me have gone there.. not exactly like me but ya know, problems in school.
