are there any real online jobs? -
January 8th 2012, 12:25 AM
I am a college student, and broke beyond belief. i just spent the rest of my money on my textbooks for this semester.
I am in desperate need for a job, but i have a few obstacles; my college is in the middle of no where (there are no small businesses i can apply to), there are no longer job positions in the college itself, and i don't have a car so i can't travel out to a job. I figure the only kind of job i can throw into my extra time is an internet job. i have been searching constantly for non-scam online jobs/ones without having to spend $30+ for information (i don't have the $30 and they are most likely scams anyway) but i haven't found any does anyone know of a job online that i don't have to put any money into it? does one even exist? |

Well you can sell stuff online via Ebay or you could work from home or run a business from home online, of course this would mean be self-employed.

Hey there,
a friend of mine has an online job of teaching english to the japanese. I don't think you have to spend anything for it. She just uses skype and the company provides all the study material. She works from 7-12pm 6 days a week, with breaks in between of course. If you want I can get you the details for it. https://www.mturk.com/mturk/welcome <- I found this website back in October. Basically people post "hits" (That's what they call the jobs on the website) and have workers who are registered on the website to complete them. The "hits" are mostly surveys or other tasks requiring them to collect demographic information of some sort. You'll see some "hits" only worth about $0.01 or $0.05, but you can search through "hits" to find some worth $0.50, $1.00, $2.00 <- I only do "hits" worth those amounts of money. When I was at home before my semester at college started I would spend every day a week doing about 5-7 hits a day. I would make up to about $20-$30 a week. Some "hits" however are scams. If the "hit" is asking you to do something like sign up for free gifts, give us your credit score, etc.) DON'T DO IT! Other than that I find it a pretty good website. I've been making money off it for about 3 months now. All in all I managed to collect $174.00 so far. If you decide to sign up make sure to read more into how the website looks for better understanding.
