i want to play rugby can any 1 help? -

Orite every one, my name is dave i am 13 and i am living in Derby, i would really like to start training with a rugby team. i havnt played proper rugby but have always loved watching it as my dad was a big rugby fan. i know the basics from playing at school. i am 6 foot 1 and about 8 stones, not too quick but pretty strong, can any 1 suggest what i should do next ? and perhaps the possition i could try out ? and any possible local teams in Derby

Hey Dave, why not try googling rugy teams in your local area. Or perhaps your school might have one which you could join at some point.

Hey Dave!
Welcome to TH!  My cousin used to play Rugby, but now coaches due to rugby-related injuries. It is a powerful sport and personally I prefer it to Football :P Have you asked your P.E teacher at school? Or perhaps you can join the school rugby team if they have one, if not, maybe suggest to start one up? I'm Janos. I can't really tell you if there's any local teams in Derby that need players, but you could try perhaps run a search on google as Lou suggested.
