Archery

Would people consider archery to be a sport? Whether or not it is one, it's my favorite thing, and the only thing I like. Does anyone here like it too...? I would love to discuss.

No idea if it's a sport or not but I remember trying it once on a school trip. I failed at it but I'd like to try it again some time.

I love Archery! I can't play it. I've never even tried. But I do think that it is a sport. Is was on during the Summer Olympics and I watched it. I thought it was so cool. I really wish I could learn how but I can't find a class for it anywhere that is local.

Archery ranges are pretty rare and hard to find. I just do archery in the summer when I'm at my overnight camp, but the past few years I've won the award for best archer in the entire camp... My highest score for three arrow shooting is a 27 (out of 30), and luckily that was during a competition :P Archery is like the only think I still like lol

The local community college has one, but it isn't open to high school students. I really want to take it, not for the credits, but just for fun. I'm an enrolled student there, but they still won't let me take it.

As for finding sports you like, I would check with your local youth center or city. I know they my town has a 'sports overview' type camp where you play a different sport everyday. It helps you figure out what you like and what you suck at. :P

Archery is SUPER fun. It's only all the better if it gives you credits :P
Also, I know what sports I'm good at. And that would be just archery. I suck at everything else xP Well... I'm okay at tennis. But when I said it's the only thing I still like, I mean like in general. All I like is archery, there's nothing else that makes me happy. lol :P

Just seems like a hobby, something to do in your free time. For fun.

I've always wanted to try it, never got a chance to though. I would consider it a sport, don't see why it wouldn't be.

I'm not sure if it's a sport or not. I would call it a sport though. I've done it twice at school camp. I would love to do it again and I might considering it's a sport option at my school.
