Anybody else horseback ride? -

I've been riding for 6 years now, it's a huge part of my life and who I am. I want to make a career out of it. Does anyone else ride?
Who are you to tell me that I'm less than what I should be?

When I was really little, we'd go see my uncle, and he had horses. It was so much fun. Haven't done it in a long time.

 No one in my family has owned horses, so I wasn't able to ride as a kid.  I didn't start until about 4th grade.Alrex- That's too bad. I've heard of a lot of big stables in Canada though- are you sure there isn't one near you? Who are you to tell me that I'm less than what I should be?

I have tried it before like on the beach and stuff but not professional, I have been to the horse races and they are very interesting to watch.

ive tried a few times i really loved it but my horsey friend moved schools and we lost contact so i dont have anywhere to continue learning and boosting my confidence, but i would love too. my other mate rides and she fell off the other day and now need surgery on her funny bone. she been in for like 7 days now lol

i rode for about 3 years. i did a few gymkhanas but only could do a few small jumps. i wasn't amazing but i enjoyed it. i ended up quitting because it was the foot and mouth disease thing was around. the farm i rode at got shut down and i never started up anywhere else so i just sort of gave up. i would like to again in the future though.

I've rode horses when I was at camp before, and I always thought it was so much fun.
 I don't live in the right kind of area to do horseback riding though. I wish that I did.

I used to show a few years ago. I loved it, but I can't do it anymore unfortunately. I loved jumping - that was by far my favorite.

Yeah, I love riding - although I'm allergic to horses..... so i'll never be able to have one
 I started riding just before my 10th Birthday.... but I've stopped taking lessons now and just hack out with friends whenever I can... go for a gallop down the beach or through fields... that kinda stuffs

my auntie started taking me with her on rides when i was 3 and started riding on my own by 10 or 11 and i've been riding when i can since it's been a while since i've gone but when i do go for a ride it's usually a long one i think my personally record was 14 miles in 7 hours that includes the 45 min break between arriving at destination and going home im very proud of that lol tho im sure it's not all THAT much haha

like really bit your arm intending to actually wound or just nipped your arm? cuz damn that'd hurt...that being said i had my ankle and foot step on by a horse a few time...not fun lol

Of course... I've been riding for 8 years. Mostly western but I am planning on starting more jumping(English jumping... because you can't jump very high in a western saddle or else it is painful... haha)

haha horses are dangerous but awesome, my mate finally got back to school today after like 2 weeks she was in hospital for a week, lol silly horse. but still wonderfull
