Life of a meathead (Bodybuilding!) - August 12th 2010, 10:52 PM

I'm curious to know if anybody else is interested in bodybuilding on this site.

I'm currently doing a CLEAN bulk [weight numbers are not allowed](in muscle, not FAT.) I expect to put on a couple pounds of fat, but I'll look shredded when I cut.

My diet currectly consists of;

Meal 1 : 1 1/2 cup oatmeal, gainer shake.
Meal 2 : Normally a meal replacement bar (with clean/slow acting carbs) Normally a VYO-PRO bar.
Meal 3 : 1 chicken breast, 1 cup brown rice, 1 cup broccoli
Meal 4: Same as Meal 3
Meal 5 (Pre workout) : 2 slices whole wheat bread 2tbls organic peanut butter 3 egg whites
Meal 6 (Post-Wrokout) : Normally a MYO-FUSION/SYNTHA-6 with a bannana
Meal 7: 1 Chicken breast 1/2 cup brown rice 1/2 cup broccoli
Meal 8: Yoplait Yogurt, almonds, and a whey shake.

I also have a video I'll post later, feel free to post your diets/pictures/etc.

I have a bit of a question, what’s the point in Body Building itself?

I have a routine I do every morning, also I make sure I go for a long walk or jog nearly every day. But if 1 morning I don’t feel like it then I won’t do it. I never went to this much trouble of food. I eat what I’m given and when I make my own dinners its normal not that healthy. Either way I’m not to serious about it yet I keep in good shape. So you do all this to get bigger than me quicker than me and all that. But when it comes to body builders you seem to push your body to far to an extent where it won’t even look nice.

So to sum it up are you doing this to look good or to keep fit and in perfection?

What's the point in Football, baseball, soccer, hockey, wrestling, MMA? For the sheer point of entertainment I'd pressume, hobby perhaps? Perhaps the point is to tone your body to a condition you find you like. Bodybuilding doesn't just include Mass Monsters, bodybuilding means what it says "Body building." The structure has no definition torwards one type of person "Mass juicers." It can range from getting your body lean and cut, or to bulk clean in size for football season. So its' meanings can vary, and I personally do not believe any lifestyle, or sport has a great meaning.

My goals are my own prefference, so is Jay Cutlers, Ronnie coleman, etc. If we want to go and be mass monsters, by god, let us. If you want to go on a job every morning to lose fat and look cut, by god, do it, it's still considerd bodybuilding. Also, you won't get bigger in size by running everyday But you'll see good definition, but no mass. Personally I think being [Edited] and cut is sick, and is a waste of time. Again my own personal reference, and opinion. Do you have to agree with me, no. Do I have to agree with you, no. You may eat, exercise as you please, but don't accuse everybody that wants to bulk a discusting person. A lot of bodybuilders would simply want to go from their discusting looking 5'10 [Edited] body, and add [Edited] pounds of muscle. It wouldn't make them look like a monster, but it'd make them look a lot better.
