Basketball? -

To go back, or not to go back, that is the question.
It's my senior year in HS, and I'm having some doubts. I never even starting playing until my freshman year, so I don't have much experience on the other girls. I played HS ball my freshman and sophomore year but I didn't try out at all junior year. I played summer league for the same team though. Anyway, yeah. I really don't know if it's worth me going back this season. There's not a chance of me playing in college at all aside from intramurals and I really don't even know how much I would enjoy playing at my school. They don't really have much height on the team and there are only 2 girls that play that are taller than I am and I'm only 5'8. Typically I either play forward or center on offense and center or point on defense so it's not like there's a ton of people I have to compete against for that spot. Right now there are 8 open spots on varsity and I know there are going to be atleast 11 girls trying out with the majority being juniors who HAVE to move up to vars this year. So yeah, what do you guys think? ![]() im on my way |

If it is something you want to do and something you could put your time into and something you will enjoy I think you should definately go for it! I mean who cares about the others, you could beat them on the day and make it
And if you don't get on the team as a main straight away, they might keep you as a sub and if you try as hard as you can you might improve to be better than them and make it on the team in the end ![]() As for the position, whichever one you think you are most skilled in or have the most potential in is the one you should pick (assuming you like them both equally, if you prefer one go for that), it should be about fun ![]() Good Luck! Xxx When life gives you one thousand reasons to cry, show life one million reasons to SMILE! ![]() Because we all love pigs |
