Exclamation Trip - March 4th 2013, 03:24 PM

This is what I will be doing on my trip to London and Paris next year can Anyone tell me anything about these places

Day 1
Fly overnight to England

Day 2
Take a walking tour of London
The Strand
Trafalgar Square
Leicester Square
Covent Garden

Day 3
London
Visit the Tower of London
Take a guided tour of London
With your expert local guide you will see:
Big Ben and Houses of Parliament
Piccadilly Circus
St. Paul’s Cathedral
Westminster Abbey
Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (if scheduled)
Optional London Eye and Thames River Cruise
Have a Fish and Chips Dinner

Day 4
Travel by Eurostar train to Paris
Arrive in Paris

Day 5
Take a guided tour of Paris
Place de la Concorde
Champs-Élysées
Les Invalides
Eiffel Tower
Take a guided tour of Versailles
With your expert local guide you will see:
State Apartments
Hall of Mirrors
Gardens

Day 6
Visit the Louvre
Visit Notre Dame Cathedral
Take a walking tour of Paris
With your tour director you will see:
Latin Quarter

Day 7
Depart for Home

Only been to Paris, but:
Place de la Concorde- more or less a historical place, significant in the French Revolution
Champs-Élysées- shopping!!
Les Invalides- I think Napoleon's tomb is here, it's a military building with a gold dome if I recall correctly.
Eiffel Tower- fabulous! really crowded though and costs money to go up.
Take a guided tour of Versailles:
State Apartments- neat stuff, historical etc
Hall of Mirrors- kind of overrated but still pretty
Gardens- spend as much time as you can here- so so pretty and just amazing.

Day 6
Visit the Louvre- love this museum, really for art
Visit Notre Dame Cathedral- neat architecture, sometimes busy sometimes not

That sounds like a really fun trip! Have fun.
