My Seventh Move - June 2nd 2013, 07:22 PM

I'm having a really tough time with this, but I should be used to it. We're moving in less than two weeks and I can't seem to deal with the reality. I don't want to leave a place I've known for the past three years. It'll be two and a half hours from my friends. Does anyone have any tips for dealing with moving?

I'm really sorry to hear that you're moving again. It's difficult to be the new kid, but there are bright sides which can help you deal with this. It will help you be more social with strangers, and you'll get to meet a lot of people. You can still stay in touch with your friends through Skype and phone calls, and your parents may even let you fly out and visit them. Also remember that once you're older, you can choose where you live and whether you want to relocate to somewhere new or not. Moving is stressful, but its always an adventure as you get to explore a new area. My best advice is to try and stay positive and enjoy the new experiences you'll have.

And here you are living, despite it all.

Thanks I'm definitely going to keep in contact with my friends. But I don't know. All of the decorations and stuff are out of my room and it looks pretty empty and depressing.
