It's been close to a year since I last traveled anywhere exciting. Now with full-time school and part-time work I highly doubt I'll ever get to again!
I miss traveling. It's my biggest passion! I would loooove to travel as a career Haha. I guess I just wanted to post this. Maybe someone else feels this way? Without traveling, I feel trapped. Even if I just go on an hour road trip...I feel better! I hope I can go see a friend in Canada one of these days. =3 So you have gray hair and you're only 26

I would love to travel the world someday.
 The only problem is money.  My school runs trips around the world every year, and the one I want to go on is to Spain and France in 2012, the summer before my Senior year, but it's the three thousand dollars. I'm trying to convince my parents to say yes. I've only ever been inside the United States, but I may be going to Canada this summer. |

Traveling by train is VERY relaxing and enjoyable for the most part. I highly recommend it!

Rare on Amtrak, but it happens. If you really want a beautiful trip, I suggest going to Chicago or Emeryville, CA (whichever happens to be closer) and riding the California Zephyr end-to-end and back. Of course, your parents would have to be with you. I doubt they'd allow an "unattended minor" to do that and you probably wouldn't be able to pay it yourself anyways. It is a great vacation in itself just to see the views and take in the experience. My dad and I did this going as far as Denver, staying there for a day, and then turning back home.

I love travelling and going to new places, so you're definitely not alone! I just don't like being stuck in one place. I hope to travel the world one day.

I really want to travel too! Last year my family went to Padre Island for spring break. I am going to travel when I am an adult. Here are some places to look into traveling for cheaper. I hope they help you.

Traveling is a lot of fun. My dad and I drove from Indiana to North Carolina over Christmas break. It was really cool just to watch the landscape change as we drove through the mountains.
