Colorado? - February 7th 2010, 10:31 AM

my family is going to colorado this summer, for a wedding, but we are spending a week down there. it has become my job to find things for us to do while were there, so does anyone have any ideas? we will b in the denver and La Junta areas. if that helps lol. thanks (:

So, is that what you call a getaway?
Tell me what you got away with.
Cause I've seen more spine in jellyfish.
I've seen more guts in eleven-year-old kids.
Have another drink and drive yourself home.
I hope there's ice on all the roads.
And you can think of me when you forget your seatbelt,
and again when your head goes through the windshield.

You could go to the Denver Zoo. I'm not really sure what age groups are giong, but you really can't go wrong with a zoo.
There is also a US Mint that gives free tours. I think seeing how money is made is cool, but that's just me. :P
There is also a Nature and Science Museum. http://www.dmnh.org/
I hope you have tons of fun!!!
