Moving to Montanaaaaa -

Hello there everyone.
I'm moving to Montana with my boyfriend, and so I can go to the university  This is the first time living alone, and I was just wondering if you have any tips or advice to make moving sucessful. I currently live in Washington. For those of you who don't know, I live in west Washington, and I moving to east Montana. That's about a 16 hour drive, give or take. I really don't want to go through all the hassle just to move back. So any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated

Aww I bet your so excited!!
This is a big thing sweedie, I cant wait for the day I move away Its such a lucky thing to. Tips: * Make sure you take photo's of friends and family that you have in washington * Take your computer/laptop so then you still have access to friends and family over the net, maybe even a web cam would be cool * make lots of new friends so you dont ever feel lonley. * You could maybe have a house warming to maybe meet new friends?? Im sure you will have a great time, its kind of excting to because your on your own and you can do what ever you want to do, to a certain extent

I have never lived on my own, but, I know that it can be hard. Just remember that because you've moved away from your friends and family, doesn't mean that you can't go see them again. They will always be there for you. Just hold on to what you have that reminds you of them, like pictures, home movies, newspaper articles, stuffed animals.. Take turns going to see your family and them coming to see you. Good luck, I hope things work out!

My grandparents live somewhere in Montana. Not sure what part, but anyways...
When you first get there don't be afraid to get out there and get involved in the community. You said you're going to a university there so get involved on campus and make some friends. This is going to be a real growing experience for you...good luck!
