Smile What to take on a school trip abroad? - October 12th 2010, 03:49 PM

I know this may be a weird thread but I have no idea what to do

I'm going to Paris with my school in a few weeks. I was just wondering what sort of things to take, like what clothes and things to do I should bring. I don't want to go in hoodies and jeans and find everyone else is dressing up.

We are going to Disneyland the first day, then a tour of Paris, shopping the next day and then Parc Asterix. We aren't doing any discos or thing like that so I don't need dresses.

Well thanks for reading this

Just bring clothes that you're comfortable in. Some casual things, some pretty things. Whatever you're comfortable wearing. There's n specific dress code for school trips. So just bring whatever you have, nothing special. But don't bring embarrassing clothes you don't want your friends to see!

Take care.

I would say just bring things that you're comfortable in, you could also talk to your friends and see what they are bringing, that way you know at least what a few people are bringing.

I'm also going to move this over to the travel section, as I feel it might fit better there.

If you're going to Disneyland bring clothes with pockets so you can keep money and things in there without having to carry around a bag since I always hate carrying around bags when I'm going to theme parks. Also, shoes that won't fly off when you're on rides :P

If you're going to be walking around a lot then wear comfy shoes and clothes

I would bring mainly casual clothes, and like everyone else has said bring clothes you feel comfortable in! If you're worried about wearing casual stuff when everyone's not, then maybe bring one or too more dressy up sort of outfits. But i would ask your friends and see what they are going to wear - when I went on a school trip I had some casual some more dressy up stuff - but we had a disco :P When we went to Paris there was a lot of walking around so bring comfortable shoes!!! and a suitable bag! Also check what the weather is going to be like before you go so you won't be too cold!

I would bring a jacket and comfortable shoes. Also, just pack a couple of formal things for parties and such. Otherwise, pack informally. Pick and choose!
