Trip to NYC!

Hey guys! [:
On OCT.28th through NOV1st my Mom and I,will be in NYC!
My mom is from NY so she knows all the "big places" to go to! [:
Now,our flight leaves at 7:15AM, I'm thinking that we should get up at like 2am
leave our house by 3AM *takes about an hr. to get to the airport* get there at 4AM & the rest of the time to go through security,let my mom get coffee etc.
So does anyone know any fun places to go to in Midtown Manhattan?
The hotel is on Lexington AVE. & 51st STREET.
Does anyone know any good restaurants near that address?Does anyone know where MACY'S *The one where they do the T-Giving Day Parade* is?
Any help or if you just wanna suggest a place would be very appreciated! [:

Totally jealous...I wanna go back to NYC. Drop by the Central Park Zoo... it's nice. Take a stroll down Broadway. You can sometimes catch cheap performances the day of since they try and sell out the performance and will lower the ticket prices. Have fun!

I wanna go back there. I went last summer with my sister and mom. I liked the Central Park Zoo as well. I'm not sure what part of NYC this was in but FAO Schwarz is this really expensive toy store. We didn't buy anything there because we couldn't afford it but looking at the stuff is cool. There was a Barbie Foosball table there for like $34,999.99, something like that. xD Then there's always the Lego store. I went there by train so I was at Grand Central Station. Best train station ever, I'd think. xD Then in Central Park you can ride on one of those carts that are attached to a horse. I don't remember how much it cost but our driver was nice and dropped us off by Central Park Zoo so we didn't have to walk there. xD Then I'm not really a huge church fan but St. Patrick's Cathedral is REALLY beautiful and big on the inside.
