Question SAN FRANCISCO - January 1st 2012, 05:45 PM

I have booked a trip to San Francisco next month between 11th Feb-18th Feb. I arrive in San Fran at 1pm so have the majority of the day saturday, then all the way through to Friday evening.
I may be meeting a friend out there but i dont know whats happening with that now :-s

Has anyone got any good ideas of where i could go or what i could do?
Im staying near UNION SQUARE.

Any ideas?
Many thanks

Re: SAN FRANCISCO - January 1st 2012, 11:24 PM

San Francisco is a cool city, I love it there. I have only been a couple times though.

Some of my favorite things I did while there:
Saw the Golden Gate Bridge
Went to the San Francisco Zoo
The California Academy of Science (Which is like a museum)
Pier 39 and saw the sea lions there.

There was a ton of other things I wanted to do while there, but never was able to make happen. Like go on a tour of Alcatraz, actually see the Bay Bridge, there was a couple other museums. There is a ton of things to do there.

Hopefully this helps, and you find some fun things to do!

I have always wanted to visit San francisco! The theatre district not far from where you're staying is the top of my list. San fran also has Chinatown and the mission district, which is well known for Italian food. You could always take a cable car ride too! I hope you have a lovely trip.
