It's a debate between Elf and "Other" because I also like The Polar Express.

I chose Home Alone and Elf, though I do like a lot of other movies on this lost, I think these would be first. :hehe:

Grinch is definitely one of my closest childhood movies when it comes to Christmas. That was also the first guess when I read the title.

But actually, the cartoon 'short' (a few I saw) was much better than the Hollywood version. I'm not sure which version you meant.

Most Christmas movies are meh.
They are okay. Some. Now that I think of it, no typical Holiday movie ever wowed me. But I love Holidays. I must have loved these movies just for the represented themes, decorations, traditions and redone tales, not much the messages.

I haven't watched half of these. I liked how the Grinch stole Christmas cartoon version. The best part was that I'm a holiday Grinch but of course at the time I wasn't. Then many years later I saw a different one and I hated it. Omg I thought it was one of the worst films I ever saw. Home alone is nice but I never really considered it a holiday film. Same thing with to grandmothers house we go. Sure it takes place during Christmas but I wouldn't reserve it for the holidays. There was an Arthur Christmas special. And I watched the polar express at midnight of Christmas eve when I went to my cousins for a legit christmas back in the day and I didn't really understand it. I just remembered really wanting to go on that train. So would you consider harry potter a Christmas film because it depicts the holiday in a few scenes? There's this one film about grandma being run over by a rain deer I didn't like that one. And are we there yet is pretty average. I wouldmt watch it again as one time was enough. But this year I'm not into the holidays. I actually used to be very much. Ha. Bygone days...

A Christmas Carol :) Have to watch at least one version every year :p I actually really like Disney's 2009 version. I don't know why some critics weren't fussed. The 1984 live-action version is my favourite though.

I watched Arthur Christmas in the cinema a few Christmases ago and that was awesome. More people need to see it :p
