Doctor Who series 9 confirmed for Autumn

Apparently the 9th series of Doctor Who has been confirmed for Autumn. Not very happy that we have to wait this long. That's all almost a year of waiting since last Christmas :( What do you guys think about this?

I'm sure the longer we wait, the better the show will be because they'll have more time to write and edit. Being patient does suck, but it will all be worth it. At least the seasons have lots of episodes!

I'm actually trying to watch them in order so I'm far behind anyway :p I'm on season 6 now.
