Halloween? - July 19th 2015, 11:08 PM

They're making yet another remake of it!
Who's ready for that?

Hey,

Since this is about a movie, I'm moving this to Film & Television.

I may or may not watch, I never really watched the first one all the way through.

I'd watch it because Halloween is my favorite horror movie. However I doubt it will be good. This is actually the first I've heard about it.

Another Halloween remake again as in another Michael Myers remake? Ehhh...seeing as how not so great the Rob Zombie remakes were, I sure do hope they will do a better job. It would be hard to top the original though. To me, the original H1, H2 and H20 will remain the trilogy that started and ended Michael Myers. Though, it will be interesting to see how the remake will be approached.

I'll definitely be watching - I'm a big fan of many of the classic franchises and always check out the reboots as well.

There is a new Friday the 13th remake on the horizon as well in addition to speculation of a second part to the Nightmare on Elm Street reboot.

I probably won't bother. Films usually lose something after multiple sequels and remakes.

I will probably watch it because I like horror movies but I prefer the older horror movies over newer ones.

Re: Halloween? - August 1st 2015, 04:22 AM

I don't think I'll be watching the remake. In my opinion, some things should be left alone and appreciated in their original form only. Remakes are never as good as the originals and I'm not going to spend 2 hours of my life watching something that I know I most likely won't enjoy.
