The X Factor!. - October 11th 2009, 07:28 PM

i didn't see an x factor thread.. sooooo.. who's your favourite?.

for me it has to be john and edward. even though everyone else hates them, i think they're awesome! they're sooo funny and it makes a change from some of these mediocre singers just standing there singing some boring song that no one can remember.

Sorry, Elle. I really strongly dislike John and Edward. I don't particularly like any of them, but anybody who sings Kings of Leon is in my good books.
I can't remember who got voted out last night...

I hated John & Edward at first, but after seeing them speak in interviews and stuff, they seem like really cool people.....even though singing is NOT for them. They could be presenters though.

As for my fave, atm, i don't really have one but i do like Stacey simply cause she's hilarious and her voice is beautiful

Re: The X Factor!. - October 12th 2009, 07:49 PM

I'm really glad Kandy Rain went... I wasn't really a huge fan, just because I think Louis put them in his final three for one reason, and that wasn't because of their singing talent... Sorry, just my thoughts.
I really like Stacey and Miss Frank, and I think Lucie is really good but I don't think she'll win. I think Lloyd is cute (bless him) but again, I'm pretty sure he's not going to win.
I vote John and Edward to go next week... purely because thhey can't sing as well as anyone else in the competition.

I like Jamie Archer even though I wasn't a huge fan of his performance on Saturday. The John and Edward thing is confusing me, sure they're nice people but isn't this a singing competition? not a personality competition. From what I remember Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke have the personalities of two pine cones.

Re: The X Factor!. - October 18th 2009, 01:56 AM

So last night... what do y'all reckon?
I've got to say I thought Simon was really harsh to Cheryl, although some of his points were valid he went a little too far!
I really liked Stacey and Jamie, but didn't really like Miss Frank. And although the twins are funny, they really can't sing!
I also love Olly, he's so dapper (:

Your thoughts on this weeks show?

I loove Stacey. SHe's a natural born singer. She's like a totally different person when she sings. It's the wierdest thing!

I really liked Olly last night too and Rachel was good. And I really wasn't expecting that much from Jamie, but he was very good too.

I was disappointed with Miss Frank. I think they have so much potential but they're just not using it.

If Lloyd asked me to marry him, I'd say yes right away

I don't like Danyl, he irritates me soo much!

John and Edward were terrible. But I didn't expect anything else.

I can't wait for Cheryl to sing tonight!!

xx

Re: The X Factor!. - October 18th 2009, 04:23 PM

I've never really watched it before ... but from the few shows last year that I did catch, I LOVED Diana Vickers!!!
Anyway ... I like all the girls, I think they've got the best chance of winning. And I think Simon should have put some of the older girls through rather than all men.
As for the twins, I love the Irish and everything but they REALLY annoy me!! I do think they're entertaining but Cheryl was right, they can't sing FACT. And it is a singing competition!!

Last night's show was a a mixture of stuff. John and Edward made me laugh like hell! I love JOE! His voice is amazing, it's one of the more natural ones..like Stacey as well. I thought Danyl was OTT again, and is it me or does he sound as though he's singing through his nose? Olly was also a good one! This is tough :P

To be honest, I only watch it for Cheryl Cole.
Nom. Did you see her live performance? Noice.
Saying that, I wouldn't mind Joe winning just cause he's a geordie and he's cute.

John and Edward are rubbish singers but they're performance last night made me laugh so much! shamefullt, im glad they got through...
Ricky was alright, but im glad he went; tbh i don't like Rachel either so either could have gone and i wouldn't care.
I love JOE, stacey and Olly.
Lucy is good too
The afro guy (can't remember his name, but he sang Hurt?) is alright.. and so is Lloyd but i find lloyd boring to watch even if he is sweet!
Miss Frank are pretty good too.. (wernt last night though...)
Danyl i can't stand; he is so arrogant! He can hit the big notes, but has no melody (like whitney housten said) but i mean he never sings the melody and just focuses on the big notes and its like ARGHH.

Oh dear, Whitney Houston, what went wrong there? I was just shocked to be honest.
I didn't enjoy Cheryls performance at all, nothing against her or anything, it was just really bad.

Poor Rachel though, she didn't deserve to be in the final 2. Again.

Oh yeah; i know!
I think she must have been on drugs... apparently shes recovering from addiction to cocaine...
wait; or do you mean her dress..? cos that was bad too... haha (whitney houston i mean...)

I really wanted to like Cheryls performance cos i love cheryl but it just wasnt that great... but not sure if anyone saw Girls Alouds performance on the show last year(which was terrible!!) anyway; cheryls performance was alot better than that atleast!

John and Edward need to go. They are absolutely rubbish; I couldn't stop laughing when I watched them. They might be entertaining but they can't sing at all and I don't think it is fair that others end up in at the bottom when they are just so bad! I really like Stacey and Ollie is good.

Tbh John & Edward should have gone on Britain's got talent instead, and i know people are only voting them in for a laugh, which isn't fair as the X Factor is meant to be a singing competition and we all know that they can't sing...yes they're funny but...wrong show much?

Rikki was okay, but nothing special and Rachel kinda screeched through Beyonce's song so she's lucky to have scraped through.

I love how so far we've established that John and Edward are the most entertaining but can't sing for toffee...
... and Cheryl Cole is so damn hot.

and P.S. I totally voted for Lloyd a coupld of times

And P.P.S:

I don't think it's fair that John and Edward have stayed. Sure, they're fun to laugh at but it's not fair to the other acts with talent. Cheryl Cole was actually quite good, I expected her to be quite crap on her own I agree that she's pretty hot too :>

I quite like Stacey but I really don't think she's as dumb as she's made out to be, I reckon underneath she's pretty clever tbh.

I have to say I think John and Edward need to go. As has been said before, it is unfair that they get to stay in the competition when serious acts [unlike the twins who are an absolute joke!] get voted out. They cannot sing at all and this is a singing competition, incase people have forgotten. The only arguement for them staying is that they give a performance. Sure, I give them that, they can perform etc but at the end of the day, when the X factor is over then people won't be watching them do these performances. If you just put them singing on the radio etc nobody would like them so therefore they have no chances of winning. At least keep people in who have a chance and a bit of talent instead of them. That is my personal opinion, maybe some of you will disagree but hey, thats what I think.

aww no, i love john and edward. they make me smile. i'd rather buy their album than someone like that rachel girl [who i really do not like].. or that danyl [who i like even less.]

i'd rather be entertained by average singing and a great performance than bored by pretty decent singing but a shit performance where they just stand there.

i don't like Dani Minogue either. i find her sooooo annoying. and big band week is my least favourite week also.

haha. sounds like i'm in a complaining mood tonight.

I really loved Lucie's performance last night but I'm still a Stacey lover. It made me laugh when after she'd finished she was like 'I can't even bend in this'

Those damn twins are still there. I want Lloyd to go aswell, he's not a bad singer but there's nothing special about him either. Some people I know think he's just staying in coz he's pretty.

yesss. john and edward have stayed in again!!. woohooo.
i am very disappointed that Danyl didn't go because i really don't like him. he's too cocky and his performances just make me cringe.
Miss Frank are average.. don't really care about them going.
looking forward to next week.. rock week

I love rock week, I think Jamie will shine. I like Danyl but I also like Miss Frank. Im dissapointed the twins are still in. They are so bad, its good. The twins are like the male cheeky girls. or Chico x 2
