Favourite Tim Burton Film? - March 15th 2010, 01:41 PM

Honestly I am like in LOVE with Tim Burton!
Well in love with his mind. =P

So I already did one of these on Disney movies.

Now since Alice in Wonderland came out, Tim Burton time!

Ummm...
I can't pick one. O_O
I love them all too much!

So let's get my list started!

My top favourites have to be:
  1. Nightmare before Christmas (I love love love Jack =D)
  2. Alice in Wonderland
  3. Corpse Bride
  4. 9

Others include:
  1. Beetlejuice
  2. Edward Scissorhands
  3. James and the Giant Peach
  4. Sleepy hollow
  5. Charlie and the chocolate factory
  6. Sweeney Todd

(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Burton A list of his movies, I didn't know he made some of them =P)

Anywho, what's your favourite(s)?

Out of all the ones listed on the Wikipedia page, Sweeney Todd is my favorite. Actually I've only seen four or five Tim Burton movies

I liked Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well, although I have to say I liked the original version better. (The one from the 70s.)

Has to be Charlie and Chocolate Factory. Tim Burton's crazy though, his mind scares me.

The atoms that make up you and me were born in the hearts of suns many times greater than ours, and in time our atoms will once again reside amongst the stars. Life is but an idle dalliance of the cosmos, frail, and soon forgotten. We have been set adrift in an ocean whose tides we are only beginning to comprehend and with that maturity has come the realization that we are, at least for now, alone. In that loneliness, it falls to us to shine as brightly as the stars from which we came.

I remember I would try to get my sister to stay and watch the movie Edward Scissorhands. We watched it like over 5 times, insane!!!. He's got the talent for directing movies. I might go see Alice in Wonderland. I heard it's still #1 in theaters!.

Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach (didn't actually realise that was him until this thread)

Edward Scissorhands is also one of my favourites too ^^

I was reading an interview with him and Helena Bonham Carter and they lead rather interesting lives together.

James and the Giant Peach <3 it was the first film I saw in the cinema!! Still love it.

And Sweeny Todd. I'm not one for blood etc, but that was an incredibly good film.

(I liked Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but I far prefer the original with Gene Wilder)
