BBC America? -

I was watching television earlier today and I suddenly stumbled on a station called BBC America. I have the AT&T U-verse. And I think I remember someone from the UK telling me BBC was a British station or something. I could be wrong. Is BBC America an American version of BBC in the UK? Does it have the same shows? If it does, that'd be really interesting because my friend Samantha happens to work at a camp with mostly British people who come to America to work at that camp during the summer and she got me interested.
Anyways, I was just curious. I do have a very inquisitive mind. |

Not everything shown on BBC America is shown on the BBC in the UK, but I believe all of its content is British (well, duh). I think Skins is shown on BBC America which was shown on Channel 4 over here, and Primeval which is an ITV production. But yeah, the shows on there are all things Brits should recognise.
