Yeah, i saw it a couple of weeks ago and it was brilliant. The amount of facebook statuses voer the last couple of weeks that have just said 'Black Swan.....wow' should back up my opinion!! It's pretty dark though, and can be quite graphic in some scenes, especially with some self-harm. But it's without question a brilliant movie.

Total mind fuck.

When I saw it I was like 'what the fuck just happened??' and 'How many masturbation scenes can you fit into a movie??'

But in the days passing I kept thinking about it and couldn't get it out of my head. It's a grower I think.

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget

WOW. Yes. Not what I was expecting!

I went with about...ten other dancers, and I kid you not, we were legitimately taken on a psychological roller coaster ride! It was terrible (in an emotional way) and incredible (in the same way, and every other kind of way...) all at the same time. Natalie Portman is an amazing actress, and she really got into the character perfectly. Unbeatable performance. As far as the actual movie goes, I'm *not* sure its the kind of movie I'm going to say "hey! Let's go see that again!" perhaps...EVER again...because it was so intense and the first time really did us all in, but yeah. I recommend it - just be prepared. (:

I'm being a total perve here but I just wish there'd been more lesbian scenes. Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman is not a combination you get to see every day

I'm beyond stoked to see this.
Especially since all you guys said it was incredible. I love disturbing, dark, and the fact that it has controversial content just makes it even more appealing.

I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote,
“Dear Jim: I loved your card.”
Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.”
That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything.
He saw it, he loved it, he ate it."

Does anyone else think the poster is really creepy?

Ironically, I saw this poster as I was coming out of the cinema after seeing Black Swan. The local cinema has like a ramp that you have to go up and down to get in and out and it sort off goes around. While I was coming down, I saw this poster. The make-up is really good haha.
When I first saw Black Swan, I was like "What the hell is this shit?" But then it kind of grew on me. There were so many status' on Facebook saying how good it was.

this movie was awesome I saw it by myself and It literally was a mindfuck but I loved every minute of it! this is the first film that I saw from this director and he gets mad props from because this movie was everything in my opinion it was ballsy and nothing was shyed away from and I think that's what kept me drawn into it.
