The X Factor USA - September 21st 2011, 03:00 PM

Is anyone gonna be watching this? It airs tomorrow on ITV2 in the UK so I wanna hear any opinions. Think it debuts tonight on Fox.

I'll be having fun watching it on ITV2. I'm glad X-Factor is not just British anymore!

Can't wait until I see it!

Re: The X Factor USA - September 22nd 2011, 08:59 PM

That was fantastic. I really, really enjoyed that. Lots of talent and lots of laughs. Out of all the auditions in the UK one, I've picked Janet Devlin as my favourite from the get go. In the opening episode of USA alone, there was more than a few strong performances, it's a good competition already.

Though getting rid of Cheryl for Nicole was a terrible move. Cheryl was doing fine and Nicole's kinda dull.

Poor Paula.

Simon and Paula are kind of cute though, no lie.

Of course I'm watching it! (:

My choir got paid to go and sit in the audience when they came to Seattle.
I MET SIMON AND SHOOK HIS HAND!! <3 I was so happy afterwards, I cried. Hahahaha.

I might be crazy.
But have I told you lately that I love you?
You're the only reason that I'm not afraid to fly.

Oh but I felt so bad for them. If that were me in her place, I'd want to have him arrested for indecent exposure.

I watched the show. I loved it.

Except for the incident where the man dropped his pants. As above said, they should have had him arrested for indecent exposure. There were children in the audience I'm sure, and I'm surprised security wasn't called upon when he first dropped his trousers. Come on! It's a television show in America, you should do security checks on these people. He could have been a sex offender for all they knew!

The only thing I've seen of it was the man dropping his pants as it was on the news.

He lovessss her. I think she feels the same way but she won't say anything. They just have that chemistry.

What a strong Judges Houses section this is going to be! The over 30s category in particular is a powerhouse of talent. Louis Walsh ought to watch and learn, there's no Goldie here...

Re: The X Factor USA - October 8th 2011, 07:15 PM

Although I hate most of these competition shows, I prefer this one because the judges don't shriek constantly and make me want to plug my ears. Granted, the 2 female judges aren't always that great but Simon is the first judge on these shows so far that actually has a set of balls. It's not an issue of letting the person down gently or taking an hour to shriek then decide, it's a yes or no answer, plain and simple. Simon is able to do that and so is the Black guy. I'd rather see a show where the only judge is Simon because you'd get a more honest answer.

So sex offenders aren't allowed to go on the show because they may drop their pants? I agree that security should have been called in, not simply because of the children in the audience but because it's an inappropriate act even if it were not televised. Paula was reacting like a five-year old girl who saw a man's junk for the first time. I admit, it was unusual but come on, she's a grown woman, presumably has seen a man's junk at least once and she reacts in this silly way? Pathetic.

If I were one of the judges, I'd have fox-whistled and winked at him, then given a vote of "yes" just because it was a hilarious performance. Plus, he had a good voice, which is a large component of these competitions.

I can rip you off, and steal all your cash, suckerpunch you in the face, stand back and laugh. Leave you stranded as fast as a heart-attack.
