What is the funniest movie you've seen ? - December 8th 2011, 04:58 AM

This thread has been labeled as triggering by the original poster or by a Moderator. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

In my opinion 'Friends With Benifits' is the mind blowing funniest movie. This movie is most entertaining & enjoyable.

I don't really know what the funniest movie was. Some are funny, but get old really fast.

By the way, please stop labeling things as triggering unless it's true. If you think it is inappropriate, label it as "Non-PG13".

Shaun of The Dead 100x

then down the list

Death at a Funeral (The British one not the shit American one)
Due Date
Hot Fuzz
Strange Wilderness (okay so I'm immature but I laughed despite this being a totally ridiculous and stupid movie)
Team America: World Police (same as above... DON'T JUDGE ME)

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. True, it's definitely more than a comedy movie. Good shout on Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz too. Gotta mention Scott Pilgrim as well. Edgar Wright is the man.

Strange Wilderness, Team America, yes. Same with Harold and Kumar, all of them. Little Miss Sunshine has to be one of my all-time favorites in terms of funny movies, though.

"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it.
I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote,
“Dear Jim: I loved your card.”
Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.”
That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything.
He saw it, he loved it, he ate it."

Four Lions. Me and my boyfriend couldn't stop laughing throughout the whole film!

Little Miss Sunshine is one of my favourite movies but I put that in the 'In Bruges' category too. Not that I think it's as good (it's not, in my opinion) but for example, with Strange Wilderness which is obviously a lesser movie than LMS (by like a million miles) I laughed a lot more. I guess that's because LMS had funny bits but it also had a strong message and a lot of drama. LMS was a top notch film and I had a few chuckles, but Strange Wilderness was a terrible, terrible film and I laughed my ass off all the way through.

As for Harold and Kumar I didn't like it all that much except for the bits with Neil Patrick Harris haha. Legend.

Oh and I'm gonna add to the Simon Pegg love with Run Fat Boy Run (not as funny as Hot Fuzz and Shaun Of The Dead imo but probably my favourite Rom Com).

And what about Napolean Dynamite? Stupid but funny I think. Oh and The 40 Year Old Virgin.

But really I think any movie without Adam Sandler is hilarious.

And I saw The Inbetweeners movie and I did laugh a lot but I don't think it was anywhere near as hilarious as the show which is a let down for me.

Forgot about Napoleon Dynamite. That movie's godly.
