I love Ellen Page and I love this film. It's disturbing to watch, so if you get triggered by abusive scenes I'd advice you not to watch it.

I've never seen The Girl Next Door (which is based on the same case), I really should watch that too.

It's heartbreaking. Ellen Page is amazing.

I've seen it once. I have to say the worst (or saddest) part about this movie was that it's a true story. I can't believe all of those kids thought that was okay, Heartbreaking.

Stay strong beautiful, you're worth it

I know :/ I would normally say it was the way that woman brought her children up but the neighbours were abusing her too disturbing as hell.

God, this movie was so sad. :/ It's even worse that it's based off a true story.

"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it.
I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote,
“Dear Jim: I loved your card.”
Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.”
That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything.
He saw it, he loved it, he ate it."
