I think the movie adaption of "Wit" by Margaret Edson was a made for TV movie. It made me cry?

P.S. Moved to S&E.

There was one called "A Short Stay in Switzerland", That was good.

I'm waiting to see what Skellig is like. I read the book in school which was good and it has been made into a TV movie and is out on Good Friday, so I'll let you know

Rose Red was originally made for TV. It is really good to see. Can be scary though.

If this isn't what you meant...sorry.

Search it on Youtube, I believe It's a Hallmark movie called, "Merlin" with Sam Neil. It's wonderful, one of my favorites.

Yes! Great movie. I haven't seen to many good ones lately to be honest. There was one of Lifetime last week based on a Nora Roberts book I read, it was ok.

A Short Stay in Switzerland was abolutely amaaaazing!

As for Skellig, I hope it's better than the opera. I know David Almond and have spoke to him a few times, I did enjoy the book, but I saw the opera on the opening night, and i'm afraid to say it was a disappointment. Hopefully the movie will be better though!

Yea I saw it too..it was called High Noon....their doing another one this week...it's accually premiering tommorow. Did you read "Tribute"? They have Brittany Murphy and Jason Lewis (from Sex and the City) in the movie, so I have a feeling this one is going to be way better than last week's. Check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRkaReHFcHw

Look at this picture of Brittany Murphy http://perezhilton.com/2009-04-09-br...rns-a-paycheck
she looks crazy..i think it's pretty safe to say there won't be an off screen romance forming anytime soon lol

Re: TV Movies - April 13th 2009, 03:49 PM

thanks for the tip! I saw this movie (mainly because Brittany Murphy was in it) I'm a huge fan...and I really like it! I never read the book so I don't have much to compare it too, but from what I saw Nora Roberts must be a great author because the movie had so much suspense and romance.
