My Sister's Keeper! - May 29th 2009, 11:50 PM

Is anyone else super excited about this?

June 26th '09 babyyy. I can't wait! I've always thought that Jodi Picoult [who wrote the novel this movie is based on] was an excellent writer, and I really loved "The Notebook" [which the producers up will also be producing this movie]. Yayy. =D

The trailer can be found here if anyone wants to check that out.

=D Cheers. I really hope they don't mess it up, the book was so lovely..

Incredible book--and I've read ALL of her books multiple times, I think she's great! I'm nervous that they will mess it up--and usually for me, even if the movie doesn't "ruin" the book, for me it always messes up the ideas I had in my head, the ways I pictured the characters, etc! But nonetheless I can't wait

I can't wait for this. According to IMDB it will be released on the 26th of June here too.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1078588/releaseinfo

I got told to read this book by my R.E teacher and we are going to see this film as a class trip for Ethics

The trailer looks amazing and I have such high hopes for the film, the casting looks reat just from the trailer
I am going to need a HUGE box of tissues, I will be crying like a baby. Even though I have read the book and I cried then I will still cry in the film even though I know what is going to happen.

So excited

If this turns out good, I hope they make more of her books into films. I would love to see Nineteen Minutes, The Pact and Plain Truth.
EDIT: and Salem Falls (basically all of the books)

Ohh, I read this book a few months ago! Definitely a good book - the twist at the end was so cruel though.
Seriously, they better not mess the movie up!

It's a brilliant book. Pity they have changed the ending of the book for the movie. Also, Jodi Picoults latest one Handle With Care is very similar to My Sisters Keeper, yet it has enough differences to make it another excellent read.

I saw the trailer for this movie a while ago and I would really like to see it when it comes out! Abigail Brenslin always does a good job in her movies. :]

Oh my gosh, I didn't even know they were making it into a movie!
I just read it over Christmas break. It was SO good!

Cameron Diaz is the only one who really caught me off guard - the other characters are also very close if not exactly how I imagined them. But is Julia really not in it? She's not on the cast list. Movie's definitely gonna end up being different if they cut out a big character like that.

I can't wait to see it! :]
