Greatest Ever Guitar Solos - January 15th 2009, 02:44 PM

Well seeing as I'm listening to the 100 greatest guitar solos I thought I'd hear what you think are the greatest every guitar solos.

I think
Guns and Roses - Sweet Child Of Mine
Van Halen - Why Can't This Be Love
Chuck Berry - Johnny B. Goode

And I do like a Kiss one but I can't seem to remember the name of the song atm.

Since I've learned the rest of the song, I'm trying to learn the solo to Hallowed Be Thy Name by Iron Maiden. Hell I might just make up my own god damned solo should I ever play it live, which I never will. But it's fun to think about...

Pssh, anything by Dragonforce is just amazing shit that I couldnt ever hope to play.

Take me seriously.
I dare you.

Steve Vai- Bad Horsie
Steve Vai- Tender Surrender

Two really good, fully instrumental pieces (not technically solos, but they'll do). He is the greatest guitarist ever, after all.

I do agree with Marissa, Dragonforce are pretty amazing and Metallica <3 but Van Halen's 'Eruption' is just...wow.

the canon in d guitar rock thing. from like funtwo or something. on youtube. sorry, this probably doesnt really count as a guitar solo as its not in an actual song and stuff. but still. its amazing, used to be the most viewed vid of youtube. ever. or at least like the 2nd or 3rd.
