My workout playlist usually consists of something with a good tempo,
and maybe some hard guitar aswell.
Eye of the Tiger is a good one. To be honest, I'd suggest
Franz Ferdinand. I know it's kind of weird, but a lot of their songs make
me dance, which is a good thing when it comes to working out. It gives me
a huge boost!

I think a lot of dance music helps me or heavy metal with a fast beat because it kind of builds up adrenaline for me.

Pretty much anything that I am in the mood for. Some days it is louder music and other days it is quieter.

I know I do a lot of paramore.
Some eminem.
Buck Cherry.
Tom Petty.
And, Distrubed.

But in the end its whatever I am in the mood for.

Definitely metal because of the adrenaline rush. Mostly though...

As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, Slipknot, Dethklok, August Burns Red, etc.

When I go running I like upbeat dancing songs that make you feel good.
Genre is usually Pop or RnB.
I find one particular song that really gets me going is: Rihanna - Disturbia

Re: What's on your playlist? - July 28th 2009, 01:37 AM

Okay, just listen to them, because they're perfect for intense running (I'm a jogger and I often put these on repeat).

"Whatever" By: Godsmack

"Le Disko" By: Shiny Toy Guns

"Drugs or Me" By: Jimmy Eat World

They're all quite different, and work well with my jogging schedule, depending on which mood I'm in. Roughly speaking, Godsmack is for angry/intense running, Shiny Toy Guns is for upbeat/happy running, and Jimmy Eat World is for depressed running.

It's always nice to hear from a fellow runner. Happy jogging!

I like upbeat dance songs to workout to...like:
I gotta feeling by B.E.P.
Battlefield by Jordin Sparks.
Goodbye by Kristinia DeBarge.
Life is a highway by Rascal Flatts.
And mostly everything by Taylor Swift.

It certainly depends what mood I'm in. Lately I've been in the "I don't need anybody, I can make it on my own even if you think I'll fail" kind of mood so I have songs like... Shut Up by Simple Plan, Me Against the World by Simple Plan, Lessons Learned by Carrie Underwood, No Boundaries by Adam Lambert, etc.

Generally hardcore or music with awesome electric guitar solos. Generally, its songs from bands like Bullet for my Valentine (Tears Don't Fall), Coheed and Cambria (Welcome Home), Slipknot (Psycosocial), Trapt (Who's going home with you tonight), or Avenged Sevenfold (Almost Easy). Those songs really only if you are into heavy metal. In general for more alternative Bon Jovi, Nickelback, or P!nk are good choices.

I'll do whatever it takes to be the mistake you can't live without.

Fell In Love With A girl by The White Stripes
C'mon C'mon by The Von Bondies
Believe what We Tell You by The Sleeping
