This is a long shot, but does anyone know of a poem with the ending line "this is for saying yes"? -

I'm not sure whether the poem is obscure or not, so I don't know the likelihood of someone knowing what I'm talking about, but...
at a talent show the other night a girl did an amazing rendition of some slam poetry (I think?) which included something about "telling a fourteen year old boy he was beautiful" and telling a fourteen year old girl she was powerful, or something. Many of the lines began with "This is for...". It was fairly long, and I know the last line was "This is for saying yes". Anyone know what poem/piece I'm referring to? |
