I love acoustic as well.
A couple guys that are really good are
Dallas Green and Matt Costa.
You might also want to check up on acoustic
covers that your favourite bands have done, alot of those turn
out really really well.

I like acoustic versions of rock/metal songs but if you want a good acoustic band there's always Secondhand Serenade.

I would suggest you check out the first few releases by Against Me; It's almost completely acoustic and 1,000 times better than the garbage that was their last album. Also, look at some classic songwriters like Leonard Cohen and Lou Reed.

I'll drink to that! Jason Mraz is acutally the best thing going (although it bugs me when people hear the single track they play on the radio and think they know and like him lol)

I'd only add Colbie Caillat to the list, shes pretty mellow =]

I used to be indecisive... but now I'm not so sure

So, is that what you call a getaway?
Tell me what you got away with.
Cause I've seen more spine in jellyfish.
I've seen more guts in eleven-year-old kids.
Have another drink and drive yourself home.
I hope there's ice on all the roads.
And you can think of me when you forget your seatbelt,
and again when your head goes through the windshield.

There this band called Boyce avenue
They're a very good acoustic band
You could find them all their (some
requested) songs on youtube. Enjoy.

And of course Nick Drake.
