DVD cord - April 21st 2009, 09:34 PM

I recently purchased a DVD at a thrift store and I am sure that it works. I plugged the DVD and put in a CD and then a DVD and it was clear that it works (the times in front of it showed things like track 7, etc).

The problem is that I need a cord to plug it in my TV. The DVD and TV have different companies. Is it possible for me to purchase JUST a DVD cord?

Uhm, what does the back of the DVD player, and the back of the TV look like? If it's just the Red, Yellow, White cord, any of those will work.

Generally speaking, there are bunches of places where you can get audio/video output cords. You can pretty much find them in almost any electronics store. What kind of TV do you have and what kind of DVD player do you have?

I'd sing you a song, but I'm feeling quite off
in my heart; it's occupied,

and now's not the time.

You need one of those universal yellow red and white cords that you pick-up at your dollar store or wal-mart loll

Your either looking at a component cable with three coloured connectors (Red, Yellow and White) or a european SCART connection which is a large ended single cable.

Brands dont matter whatsover when it comes to cables as long as you work out which type you require you can pick them up at any electronics store or supermarket.

Also, as an added thing, for the smaller stores rather than the large electronics store chains, since you'll normally get them cheaper in the smaller stores =)
