Mac Users! - July 21st 2015, 01:47 AM

So guys, I just got a mac, and I'm curious what are the best apps for mac?
I'm learning how to use it so, keep that in mind!
Please and thank you!

Hey, Ci. How are you?

To better answer your question, what do you intend on using your Mac for?

If you need help getting started on your Mac, try here: https://www.apple.com/support/macbasics/

If you're a student, Evernote comes to mind.

Otherwise, Skype, and Dropbox. However, Dropbox is going to be used less as a utility with the updates Google is giving.

I use it for everything, lol. But I am a student so that's mostly what I'd need apps for.

As Michael said, Dropbox is a really good storage app that lets you upload files to a website online and you can log on to the website and download your files to edit or use them. Another good app is a to do list app such as Things, this could help you keep track of work that you need to do. Keynote is one where you can make presentations, this is simular to Microsoft PowerPoint so should be pretty easy for you to use if you have used Microsoft before.

I hope this helps.

I prefer PowerPoint personally but at school they have Keynote, if it is free to download then I would try it out and see what you prefer but if you have to pay for it then I would just stick with Microsoft.
