iTunes Library - May 23rd 2009, 01:03 AM

Last night, I logged into my computer and opened iTunes. I was quickly taken back when I saw that my entire library had vanished. I tried to re-import both the .itl and .xml library files, but I kept receiving a message that both files were corrupted. Is there anything I can do or will I have redo my whole library which will be very tedious?

Didn't do it to gain power or money if I recall,

Do you have your music on a portable player?

Alternatively, I'd imagine a system restore may work?

Wouldn't a system restore delete all of the music?

Yes, all of my music is on my iPod. Is there a way to transfer those songs onto iTunes?

I would call the itunes store and ask them what happened... they probably know how to get it back

Try restarting the computer as well.

Yeah. I don't remember where I found out how to do it. Read around a bit and look at a few different websites for answers. There's a little trick to it some leave out, I believe.
