iTunes won't put my music on. - May 28th 2009, 04:35 PM

I curse technology.

Anyway, my iPod was all frozen and everything, and restarting it wasn't working 'cause the buttons were not working. So I restored it. Which I have done about twice before with no problems.

But this time, this little message came up saying that I don't have enough space for 16GB of music in a 8GB iPod. No duh. And it asked me if I wanted iTunes to make a playlist to sync to my iPod. I had no idea what this meant but I clicked it anyway. And it didn't put any of the music I had on before onto it.

So I deleted the playlist and synced again, thus leaving nothing on my iPod. I then went to sync as normal, and when the message came up again, I clicked no. It didn't sync anything into my iPod. This makes no sense. I haven't had enough room on my iPod for ages, but I just check the songs that I want, and it's always fine.

So all the songs that I want are checked, but none of them are going on.

What the heck do I do?

If you have 16gb music and 8gb on your ipod. Of course it wont all fit.

its asking you to make a playlist with the music you want on your ipod then manually sync :P

No, I KNOW that. I don't have 16GB of music checked to go on my iPod. I have about 7GB checked. That's the way it's always been. But the ones I have checked are NOT going on.

And it's not asking me to make a playlist myself. It's asking me to let IT make a playlist. Which is pointless.

EDIT:

Nevermind, I figure it out.

Yeah, technology hates me.

This can be closed now. Sigh.
