Morning pages journal ? - September 20th 2020, 08:47 PM

I’ve like read an article in one of my magazines that I buy quite often and it’s talking about this type of journaling that you do each morning when you wake up etc just like write down your thoughts etc but it says to do three pages but then it like goes on to say there is no right or wrong way of doing it do what feels best for you as such... so I’m now like kinda confused does morning pages have to be three pages long can it be longer or shorter has anyone ever tried this morning pages mediation thing ?

It has to be three pages of stream of consciousness writing. Just write anything that comes to mind.
This might help you:

Sometimes, thoughts comes freely and you can end up writing more than three pages. That's what happens with me. It often comes in handy when you look back on this journal on how you felt at the time and how you dealt with it.
