Alt car question - May 30th 2009, 04:17 AM

So, I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop. I pressed something I guess and now whenever I try to type a question mark, () that appears, same when I wanna use an apostrophe. Its happened before and I fixed it, I just cant remember how. Any help would be appreciated. =D

Btw, I just closed out of MSN (Where I was) and now it works fine. It seems that it only messes up there. I rarely use it, only to talk to a couple close friends, so I guess I just have to deal with it? I dunno... lol

Go to the language/regional settings and from there check that your keyboard layout is set to the right one and that it matches your language settings, it might be that you accidentally changed that setting so your computers trying to use a character set it doesn't have.

See, I've done that and everything is fine. Other people told me to do that as well. It's not that it does it every time I'm on MSN, just if I hit the button, that's all. Then I can sign out and back in, and it's fine.
