Anybody wanna help out a furious n00b? - May 31st 2009, 05:15 AM

ok so while trying to post this, the internet shut off. im at the point of RAGE because i cant fix these problems.

1) internet explorer will shut off. i'll navigate from stickam to myspace and it'll pause..then go transparent then restart my entire page.

2) i'll remain connected to the internet, however nothing works, i cant sign on to aim/msn or websurf. it'll say "page cannot be displayed." then i'll do diagnostics or w.e and then it'll say "cannot find homepage aol.com DNS servers may be down" something like that...but i'll remain connected as i said..is this something with my internet service or is it my computer?

Try and download Mozilla Firefox. Then try that.

It sounds like something with your computer/internet connection stuff. I had internet explorer randomly closing on me which I fixed like this (below), but I'm not sure about the other stuff not connecting.

Try running 'Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons)' which is normally in Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools. If this works normally then you can go back into normal internet explorer and try taking off the toolbars.

Hope this helps.
