Safari.. - July 27th 2009, 07:08 PM

I use Safari Web browser, and recently I had to reset it.
It deleted all my pass words and everything, and although the settings haven't changed it doesn't save my passwords or usernames anymore.

Anyone know how to solve this please?

It might be because you have AutoFill turned off. Go to Edit > Preferences > AutoFill, and make sure you have "Usernames and Passwords" checked. If it's unchecked, that could be the reason your passwords aren't being remembered. If it is checked, you should be asked each time you log in to a website if you want your login information to be saved.

It is all checked. and it does, and I select yes, but then I still have to put all the information in..

Which is why I'm confused..

Did it update while you reset it? Because it could've possibly updated to a newer version which doesn't hold saved usernames or passwords. I don't really know, just my best guess. It happened to me with Firefox

I threatened to eat it and it seems to have fixed itself.
