Hi Everyone!!

I hope you're having a dandy day.

3-D TV is expected to come to homes in 2010.

Click on the link below to read all about it.

So....

Is this the FUTURE?! Or just a 'FAD'?!

I think it's future - but WAY beyond 2010.

GREAT BIG HUG
Craig!!

Maybe I'm the only one but I think 3D is rather...overrated? I prefer to watch something rather than be in it.

Ahh, I remember being given a lecture on this technology in my first year, it's pretty neat stuff, we got to see a video of it in action, the only problem is that it's an illusion of 3-D, which basically adjusts what you see on the screen relative to the position of your eyes, determined by the glasses...

I'm not good at explaining it >.>.

And lol, EDGE, my first thought to your comment was "even?".

I agree with you Faith, I think the technology would be better implemented in games. Or perhaps that's just the bias from that lecture I mentioned.

I personally think it is too gimmicky as it's been implemented up until now. I don't really see this as being all too great, though I'll reserve judgement until I've seen one and know for sure

I can't watch 3D movies, let alone TV, I hope it doesn't take over normal TV.

I was planning to buy a touchscreen monitor, and now this comes along I think for big things like films it would be a seller, but I can't imagine someone coming home from work, plonking down in front of the tv... and putting on glasses?
