Any players on here? I just got it a few weeks ago, first Battlefield game since BF Vietnam , and I'm already addicted. The maps could be better, Atacama Desert really sucks and White Pass seems a little COD-ish. But I love the points system, bullet trajectory, destructible environments and reasonable hit points.

I hated Battlefield Bad Company with a passion. Battlefield Vietnam is probably the best Battlefield game out there, but I was impressed with Battlefield Bad Company 2. They made a lot of improvements. I'm definitely not the run and gun type...even in COD 4 I was mostly using a sniper rifle. So the bullet trajectory and open environment is a nice touch. I also like the hardcore mode because I think it's pointless to play a shooting game when you know where you're enemies are. It's a keeper. It's a little bit of COD and Operation Flashpoint -- a good balance between realism and excitement.

Atacama Desert is great fun when you're a medic and your team is has two bases and is holding position in front of the third But I agree, it tends to turn into a tankfest and I'm sick of idiots who try to fly the Apache...

Awesome game. End of story. And contrary to what many say, the Assault class is far from overpowered!!
