Faster on one, slower on the other??? - June 18th 2010, 05:19 PM

Okay, well, so I was never a fast typer or texter in the first place. For my birthday this year my parents gave me a LG Comso with the keyboard. I was really slow with it at first, now I'm getting faster at that, but slower on the computer keyboard. And say that I don't text for a day or two, I get faster on the computer keyboard and slower on the phone keyboard. I just wanna know if anyone has also had this happen?

Any time you switch keyboards it will happen. For example, I'm so used to typing on my laptop keyboard that my typing seems horribly slowed down on my desktop. Any other keyboard? Forget it...

Absolutely. As Basil has mentioned, you get used to one type of keyboard, and then when it switches, you have to "relearn" how to type. I find it difficult to go back and forth, although I can use my iPhone for typing out messages, I much prefer to use a keyboard.

Aye, it's something to do with how your brain works, though in theory, the more you go from one to the other, the smoother the transaction should become.
