Is there a way to crop a video file? - July 6th 2010, 05:26 PM

I ripped a DVD of mine to my computer to convert to an .mp4 file for my ipod. It has those black bars on the top and bottom >____< It's not due to the aspect ratio it's part of the video :/ They really irritate me and even more so on an ipod screen as it's so small. Is there a way to crop them out?

Yep, it was the same on my DVD player too. It's 16:9.

I always used the RAD Video Tools. The interface is a bit cluttered but focus and you should be able to figure it out on your own. If you need a hand tell me...
