Guitar Hero. - November 8th 2010, 07:17 PM

Right, as far as I'm aware, there's a guitar hero 5. (I'm not up to date at the mo) I have guitar hero 3 legends of rock, and one guitar that came with it. I'm interested in a new guitar hero game for christmas, so I'd go for the guitar hero 5 pack.

But the ultimate question is! Will both guitars work for either game? As in, with the guitar for 3 work for the 5 game, and vice verse. I'm needing of another guitar to play duels with, so they'd need to be compatible for both games.

I assume they would still work, but I could be wrong and I want to know before I buy.

BTW. It's for the Wii, if that would make any difference. Ta.

As far as I know they do....since they sell the games on their own as well as in packs...so I'd assume that if the guitars weren't compatible with the other games then all the games would be sold in packs? If that makes sense

Yeah, I thought that too. I just wanted to make sure before I buy anything (or stick it on my christmas list ) And I want the whole band too, the drums and everything. Anyone have those and opinions if so?

Pretty sure they do. My Guitar Hero 3 guitar works with 4, and my friend's Guitar Hero 2 guitar works with my 3.
