Hmmmm. Well, a lot of my add-ons don't work for it but I guess that's expected as it's new. I like it though Looks nice and seems better.

I assume that mine had automatically updated itself. (I'm sure it did) and I haven't noticed any difference. Am I missing something?

Unless I missed something, FF4 is still in beta, so yours did not update. It seems the same because it is

You can download the beta here.

It is rather reminiscent of google chrome, but then I can't help but think that the google chrome theme is quite vista-esqu.

I think it looks quite good though, not had the chance to thoroughly test it though

I won't be installing the beta; in fact, I'll put off installing it as long as I can. Judging by the print screen I saw, it looks like Firefox has jumped on the bandwagon, following the design of Google Chrome, which Internet Explorer 9 did some months ago. (I still have not downloaded IE9). Personally, I hate change. I don't mind Google Chrome. It's just too bad that all of the browsers are taking its style now. It defeats the purpose of having different browsers.

O.o the purpose of browsers isn't because they look different it's because they function differently...

But that defeats there being a selection of browsers to choose from x.x
And they're all likely starting to converge because it fits better with the themes of the currently most popular OS so it looks more fluid x.x

At least Safari is still unique. x.x

And exactly how does that defeat there being a selection of browsers to choose from? :S

Well, different browsers are there to provide different features, or to improve on other browsers. Looks are just an addition.

Hahaha exactly.

They're both better than IE but that's hardly difficult.

I am currently using Firefox 4b7, and I have to say it's quite good. I enjoy the new "Sync" feature they have added because it made it easier to set up my parents details to two PCs with just a simple login. It too me a while to adjust to the new layout, especially the preview link, that shit lost me until I realised what Mozilla did, which I think is awesome.

I'd recommend this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/15003/

You can force some add-ons to work. Some will work, some won't but all my add-ons work.

Lol, Chrome is not the best at all in my opinion.

Not really, I don't see why you should care. I think the tabs on top is a helpful solution because before I used to keep clicking my bookmarks by accident but obviously though Firefox is customisable and you can move the tabs down; including moving other shit around.

I'm going to download it when it's a finished product, but I can't really judge an unfinished product.
